How much control do I get over the design of my website?
The purpose of a website is to serve your business by building your brand and helping you be discovered by more customers. Because of that, your input on the design of the website is absolutely welcomed and encouraged. You know better than anyone what you want your brand to convey to your customers, and I want to make that happen for you. However, I will also be making sure that your site is optimized for search and that any design choices support that end.
Do you offer continued service on the site after it's been published?
Yes, I do offer continued service on your website after it has been published. It's up to you on how much or how often you want that maintenence, and I'll quote you a price for that accordingly. It's best practice to always be updating and modifying your site to adapt to your business's changing needs, so this is something I would recommend.
How long does building the website take?
The timeline to build your website depends heavily on the scope of your project. A simpler, smaller website would take a few weeks, while a larger, more customized site can take a couple months. As part of the consultation for your project, we will discuss when you need it completed by and how long I estimate it taking to make sure that the scope and timeline of your project align.
Who writes the text and supplies the images?
For the text, either you can supply the text or I can do the copywriting, which would be factored in to your quote.
For the photos, since I'm also a photographer, I'm more than happy to do a brand shoot for your brand if you don't already have professional photos. Of course, if you already have professional photos, feel free to use those.
Will my site work on mobile devices as well as computers?
Yes, your site will be optimized for all device types! I will ensure that the formatting for each page of your site looks good on phones, tablets, and computers.
